Author Profile: Susi Pittman

Q: Why did you decide to write this book?

A:I had researched the topic for quite a few years. However, it was promising my husband Greg, eight days before his death, that I would indeed write and publish my research. He believed so strongly in it’s message.

Q: Do you have any secret writing tips you’d like to share?

A: Write authentically.

Q: Tell us a quirky or funny story about you!

A:. It has always been a family joke,  I keep my Werther’s Original candy hidden from my family.

Q: Have you ever battled writer’s block? How do you deal with it?

A: Yes! Don’t fight it…don’t push it! Relax. Take a trip. You will have a break through. I had a two month block before I finished my book. There was a reason. During that time, my husbands beloved pet cat Mary passed. Her passing was most unusual and the chapter I ended up writing, which really gives rise to the bond between human and animal would not have been included.

Q: What’s your favorite quote?

A: All things in this world are created out of God’s love, and they become a framework of gifts, offered to us so that we can know God more easily and make a return of love more readily.  Saint Ignatius Loyola

Q: Who inspires you the most?

A: Saint Francis of Assisi – Saint Thomas Aquinas
